Welcome to 3D Printing and the Build Your Vision Project!

Welcome students! In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of 2 Dimensional vector (drawing) programs and 3 Dimensional Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs. You will use an online drawing vector-based program to draw your designs, and learn to import these designs into a CAD program in order to build and print out 3D objects in a variety of projects.

The culminating project of this course will be a prototype for a pair of prescription glasses that you will design and create. You will learn the principles of design, trouble-shooting and problem-solving, 3D space and 3D printing essentials in order to output a successful project.

Throughout the course, you will work through a number of projects, and learn to 3D print a wide variety of different objects in order to create a successful final project.
