Tali Weissberger: 3D Designer and Instructional Designer -Olimpico Learning
Tali created this manual as the Olimpico Learning 3D and Instructional Designer, working on the 2017-2018 STEAM workshops for 3D printing, as well as contributing to the Build Your Vision project and outreach as part of the Inspire Mountain View community challenge. Build Your Vision is a joint project between Olimpico Learning and Alta Vista High School in Mountain View to engage at-risk youth to learn CAD in order to create a prototype for 3D printed prescription eyeglasses for low-income community members. Tali has a background in the arts, with a Bachelors and Master of Arts degree in History, studying the history of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as graphic design education. She has worked in the technology and design field, co-founding the photo-editing website Citrify. As 3D printing technology has developed, Tali has developed tutorials for Rhino Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Python scripting.

Shannon Wernette: Earth and Integrated Science Teacher
Shannon Wernette is the Earth and Integrated Science Teacher at Los Altos and Alta Vista High School -a Model Continuation High School honored by the California Department of Education. Shannon has been involved in the educational field for fifteen years, providing At Alta Vista, Shannon brings her compassion and expertise to inspire and provide a strong professional pathway for students, including a ‘medical academy’ exposing students to careers in the health field. Shannon’s engaging lessons include hands-on, project based learning, to engage her students’ career potential.
